Article I: Name
The name of this corporation is Sovereign Earth Woman, Inc.Article II: Nonprofit Status
This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.Article III: Purpose
The specific purposes for which this corporation is organized are:1. To provide support, resources, and sanctuary for survivors of human trafficking and exploitation 2. To educate the public about human trafficking and women's empowerment 3. To establish and maintain safe houses and sanctuaries for women in need 4. To promote sustainable living and environmental stewardship 5. To support the physical, emotional, and spiritual healing of women 6. To build community networks that empower women to achieve sovereignty
Article IV: Limitations
No part of the net earnings of the corporation shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributable to, its members, trustees, officers, or other private persons, except that the corporation shall be authorized and empowered to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered.Article V: Dissolution
Upon dissolution of the corporation, assets shall be distributed for one or more exempt purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or to federal, state, or local government for public purposes.Article VI: Registered Agent
The registered agent and office of the corporation shall be as designated in the records of the Secretary of State.Article VII: Board of Directors
The corporation shall be governed by a Board of Directors as specified in the Bylaws.---
