Sovereign Earth Woman Charter

Preamble

We, the women of Sovereign Earth Woman, gather in sacred sisterhood to honor the Earth, reclaim our sovereignty, and support one another on our healing journeys. This charter establishes our community as a sanctuary of love, healing, and empowerment.

Article I: Name and Purpose

Section 1. The name of this organization shall be "Sovereign Earth Woman" (SEW).

Section 2. Our Purpose:

  • To create a safe haven for women healing from trauma and exploitation
  • To honor and protect our Earth Mother through sustainable practices
  • To empower women to reclaim their sovereignty and divine feminine power
  • To build sanctuaries where survivors can heal and thrive
  • To support ONEs (Our Noble Elders) as beacons of wisdom and light
  • Article II: The Three Pillars

    Our sisterhood stands upon three sacred pillars:

    🌱 Earth Connection We honor our Earth Mother as the source of all life. We commit to sustainable living, protecting natural spaces, and reconnecting with the land that sustains us.

    💪 Personal Sovereignty Every woman has the inherent right to sovereignty over her body, mind, and spirit. We support each woman's journey to reclaim her power and live authentically.

    👭 Sisterhood We are stronger together. Through mutual support, shared wisdom, and unconditional love, we create a network of care that uplifts all members.

    Article III: Membership

    Section 1. Membership is open to all women who resonate with our mission and agree to honor our community guidelines.

    Section 2. Members commit to:

  • Treating all sisters with respect and compassion
  • Maintaining confidentiality of shared stories
  • Supporting survivors with sensitivity and care
  • Contributing positively to our community
  • Honoring the sacred nature of our space
  • Article IV: Governance

    Section 1. SEW shall be governed by a Council of Elders, chosen for their wisdom, integrity, and service to the community.

    Section 2. Major decisions affecting the community shall be made through consensus whenever possible.

    Section 3. The organization shall operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, with all activities supporting our charitable mission.

    Article V: Sanctuaries

    Section 1. SEW shall establish physical sanctuaries where survivors can heal in safety and peace.

    Section 2. Sanctuaries shall be:

  • Safe spaces free from exploitation and harm
  • Connected to nature and the healing power of the Earth
  • Self-sustaining through permaculture and sustainable practices
  • Open to all women in need of refuge
  • Article VI: Amendments

    This charter may be amended by a two-thirds vote of the Council of Elders, with input from the broader community.
